Vinegar. plain distilled vinegar, you'll smell like it, but it reduces the sting and helps the skin heal.

Yeah I agree with Anupa vinegar is ten times better than aloe either soak a cloth in warm water and vinegar and leave it on the burnt area for about 20 to 30 minutes or if you are really burnt soak in a a bath of warm water and vinegar and don't forget to moisturise after.

I got burned on holiday and I used aloe vera gel, I'm not even kidding my sunburn disappeared overnight!

You can buy after sun aloe Vera gel. We live in Hawaii, my husband and daughter are very light skinned so they burn easy. A thick coat of that gel every four hours takes away the sting and they don't peel.

Thanks ladies who suggested aloe but I didnt have any, so I was looking for around.the house stuff, but thanks. And I will.definitely try vinegar thank you!
