Hey girls! So what I want to talk about today is a serious topic. Bullying/ Rude people on Beautylish. Most people are nice we do have that fair share of mean/rude people on here. Ugh! I just hate seeing rude comments by rude people who are selfish. What do you guys think about this? How can we prevent more? Has anyone been bullied on beautylish?

It's unfortunate that people are so negative...as women we should try encouraging one another..what works for one person may not work for you..that is the beauty of diversity..if you don't have anything positive to say..just say nothing.

I have never had anyone be rude to me personally, but I have seen it from time to time. I think the best thing a can do is not engage in arguments, just let the beautylish team know if there is a problem they are always very good about handling situations in a proper way.

Is there a moderator for this forum? If so, I say ban anyone who is bullying people. Rude comments...well everyone is entitled to their opinion but there's a fine line. Good topic because I have seen some unkind posts.

I agree, but many times people can be sensitive. If someone asks for an honest opinion, you can't expect everyone to say that they love it.

There should be a block button.

Most of the girls here are so nice and so supportive and I love that I feel so safe talking about any girls problems I have. but I did see some rude girls attacking other girls for no good reason. Like this poor girl she posted a pic of her self wearing a bikini without her face in the pic asking if its ok to wear it and if she look good in it, a lot of girls started attacking her saying she is looking for attention!! I mean we all worry about how we look in a bikini. I felt so bad for the poor girl. we should really do smthing about those rude ppl here.

If you see someone is being rude you need to say somthing thats how bully's get away with what there doing because people are to afraid or can't be bothered to get involved there is a big difference in constructive critisism an being out right rude and I for one don't put up with it.

I've had some interesting encounters with rude people. And usually due to me defending another person. What some of these girls don't realize is that their comments can later come back to haunt them. A lot of employers that I've consulted for have investigated potential employees on various social media sites. I found one gal that had a stellar work history. Found her Twitter ranting racial comments. Needless to say she didn't get the job. These days you just have to be nice in the cyber world because you never know...anything you say may bite you in the butt later.

Just ignore them, they're unhappy, miserable people don't let them bring you down to their level.

@Pam m. I find that a lot of the harassing comes from young girls too! I had the same problem. maybe its just their age?

Agree with most of the ladies on here and well its true you can't always expect someone to "love" something but there's a huge difference between constructive criticism to plain out rude comments...I believe all of us are here to give and get advice not to bash each other

Yes I've noticed bitchy comments mainly from ladies of a younger age - very strange and un called for. I agree that we don't all love te same stuff and I think saying I don't like something is fine but not bitter and horrid comments. I think some girls just find it easy Cus it's over Internet and there probably quiet as a mouse in real life - that's my opinion anyway.

I've been on this site for about a year or so, and lately I've noticed an abundance of people (usually the same ones) being super rude. I was actually thinking the other day "what the hell is going on??" Normally I get ignored, which is fine, but I've even had people try and pick fights with me just because they have a difference of opinion. I guess we can't control other people's comments, we can just do our best to ignore it (for the most part lol)

Sometimes it's hard to ignore those rude comments. That's why I'm kind of disappointed of this app. And all these rude comments come from little girls either 15 or younger cuz mature people don't comment like that.

I haven't been here too long and so have not really noticed cyber-bullying as of yet. If the culprits are of school age, then I guess it's simply because a) they are insecure and b) they don't often think before they post. How many back-handed 'compliments' have you all received walking down the school corridor? It really isn't something you should have to endure as an adult.

Hello Beautylista's, it's unfortunate that anyone has to deal with rude behavior and this site has really been on it to make it a wonderful environment for everyone, but sometimes people slip through the cracks and so if ever you get any inappropriate comment or feel it does not follow the guidelines of this site, please feel free to flag it and let Beautylish know and they will take care of it right away.Beautylish has no tolerance for such inappropriate behavior.I assure you they have an awesome team who really care about their fellow beauties.Stay beautiful ;-)

I don't think age is a problem, it's the maturity of everyone on here. I've seen girls in there 20s that are just as rude and immature that have no problem stooping down to anyone lower then them. It bugs me that it's a problem on here though cuz people are just asking for advice and good ways to improve themselves.

It's interesting that most people who are the bullies have a picture of someone else or a character... then they go and say people are ugly when they are the ones hiding behind a character.

You should be honest, but not mean... It feels really horrible to get bullied on the Internet.
