hello peeps!!! I love the side swept bangs look.I wanna get that look.I have tried to cut my bangs like that.It didn't work that well.anyone have any ideas how to get that cut at home? thanks

The best way is to watch your hairstylist cut side swept bangs a couple of times so you learn the technique. It's all about practice. But after you get it cut the first time and you have the basic shape, it's pretty easy to trim with thinning shears.
If you look at my profile image, that's how I cut my own bangs. If you want something like that, listen up!
I cut myself a full fringe and swept it to the side. For the first week or two, it refused to stay side swept, but after that it started sweeping naturally and I love it.
I separated my bangs in two layers. I cut the bottom layer so that it ended about pupil length (and yes, it gets annoying when it pokes you, but it's necessary to be that long!) and the top layer I thinned out slightly by gliding my scissors downwards.
I know I'm not very good at explaining but I hope it gave you a little bit of an idea of the technique. x
