What fabric should I use??

So I want to make this dress but I'm stuck on the type of fabric I should use. What do you girls think?
Also where should I connect the top and the bottom at to look best on my body? :)

Try micheals craft storw or Joanns craft store.

start at your high waist right below us bust line or try starting stitch at your waist line.

The fabric looks like a jersey knit, but that can be difficult to sew. Are you sewing by hand or with a machine?

I was thinking Jersey too. And with a machine. I've made quite a few things before. So I know how to work with quite a few types of fabric. Lol.
Marielli I was thinking of both those spots but I'm not sure how they would turn out! Lol.
