Congratulations to sabrina lol, and congrats to you too on landing a job as the makeup artist for this event (; (if you aren't already a professional)

Here's some tips: make sure there foundation matches,(once I did a girls makeup and it was light on her and I really thought it looked great like brightened her up she was pissed man lol)

Next tip make sure to not do the make up extremely dramatic or to complete the look all in one shot, go by a light finished look first despite what they showed you they want there finish look to be and ask them if they'd like you to darken the eye shadow or if they'd like to add a contour/highlight affect to there face and ask them how much thicker should there eyeliner be and things like that, than you can start slowly proceeding to the finished look (this is the best tip I can give you because its a time saver for you, even though ironically you are stopping to ask what there o preferences are about two time as you are doing it) but yeah its because its easier to add on and have a cleaner finish by doing nit this way versus having to take something off she didn't like.

this may sound phony but as your doing her makeup compliment her "wow copper really brings out the brown in your eyes more" things like that, if your making her feel good as you are enhancing her features she will feel more confident and her attitude the whole time will be no problem.

this should have been number one, but start with an absolutely 100percent clean face, if a little liner from yesterday seems to still be left onnher waterline even suggest having her wash her face with a good face wash (particularly a moisturizing one even if she has oily skim so that when your working with her right away after, you can work with a softer face and you won't need as much moisturizer and or primer which I suggest you use both and a setting spray!

don't be afraid to use small silly things like tape, this gives you more control so use it for the eye makeup. when doing the lashes you can use a folded little paper towel and having her bottom lashes sit on that paper this way you can get a good grip on those bottom lashes without messing of her face makeup and the already applied eyeliner on her water lines, this gives a dramatic lash look (I do this to myself a looot! and yeah never really told the bunches of ppl who ask how lol)

CONGRATULATIONS ONCE AGAIN THIS IS SUPER LONG HOLY CRAPPP LOL!

Maybe do a trial with her? Get together and do some different looks and see what works for her and what she likes, that way you're not put on the spot so much on the day. Not sure if you're already planning to do a trial but just thought I'd throw the idea out there :)
