I am after some advice I would like to get some mac foundation... I tried the face and body one and I didn't like it and didn't use it... I am after full coverage and a nice professional finish which lasts all day... If you have any experiences on any mac products please comment! I just bought the mac eyebrow pencil... Haven't tried it yet. Pictures and comments welcome xx

What didn't you like about it? I personally like sheer to medium coverage and I felt Mac's foundations were too heavy and cakey for me. I am now using urban decay's naked skin which I love and I believe is buildable to a full coverage foundation.

I agree with Rosanna... I didnt like the Mac foundation either. I prefer MUFE Hd foundation and Nars foundation.

I dunno it was watery and didn't glide on nicely I thought and wasn't heavy enough for me. I'm not sure where I would get the urban decay from will have to have a look online. I'm currently on no7 and although I love it I'm looking for a change.
Thanks grace I will have a look at that one.
Lara where would I buy them from?
I know all foundation is different for different people but I've had so many errors in foundations have tubs full of ones I bought and didn't like so just after advice on what other people like. Thanks girls

Yeah the Mac full coverage foundation is seriously amazing. It's not in liquid form. It's like a cream I guess. I use it with the Mac Pro long wear concealer. It last all day even in the heat!

You can find MUFE or NARS at any sephora, plus they will give you testers as well so you don't have to commit to buying the full size. Anyway if you but a full size, they will let you return it if you've already used and didn't like it.

The Mac Full Coverage is literally the same product as the Studio Finish concealer! Just like 5x the size lol. They literally have the same ingredients and everything :)

I have the studio fix fluid and I think it gives me good coverage but for me it doesn't last all day...

I really think you need to get some samples first and I would suggest also finding a good primer and most definitely use a setting powder or spray. Does it have to be mac though?

I switch between MAC studio fix and Estée Lauder doublewear... Both are good for full coverage x

So here is my suggestion...if you don't need full coverage...DON't USE IT!! if you like the way it looks and it doesn't cake, then that's your choice, but personally, if I don't need it, I don't use it. I do use Mac foundations. I use a mixture of the Studio Fix Fluid for my cheeks and forehead, but I use a thin layer. Then I set it with a transparent powder. On days when I don't need a liquid foundation, I use the prolong wear concealer and the studio fix powder. The studio fix powder is medium to full coverage but still feels light because its a powder. I would suggest a good concealer and a powder. It almost always looks the most natural.

I love Mac Studio Fix Powder for the summer, with a couple spritz of Mac Fix+ spray!! These two together make you look flawless and oil free!
