I do my daughter's hair like that all the time! She loves it because it keeps the hair off her face (she is 4) I love it because it looks great, sometimes I then pull it all into a pony tail, I stop the braid at the end of the head, put in an elastic, then comb it all into a pony tail, it stays up much better then just a basic pony, and looks much better ;-) she gets compliments all the time.
