I find that when I try to blend my eyeshadows, all if the colors just mix together at times, or I blend it to far up. This happens mainly when I do makeup on other people.

Just don't blend so much, and use a light, gentle circular buffing motion, not a smearing motion. To avoid blending too far up, just get them to open their eyes often so you know whether to stop or keep going. :)

That makes sense cause I usually blend using windshield wiper motions.

That has happened to me also. And I just changed my techniques on how I blend. That usually happens when you get a lot of shadow on your brush. Try building the color. And get a lighter transition shade. And don't blend so much. Just blend it until you see both shades mix a lil. That's how I do it whenever I do a regular look or when I cut crease. Remember practice makes perfect girl. So keep at it an you'll get it just right. 😉

You can also blend with a cream shadow in light neutral shade like ivory or cream.
