This depends on hair type and texture. make sure to add details when putting information and tips out there. olive oil can make fine, thin, or naturally oily hair really weighed down and oily/greasy. it works great from what I have heard on thick and naturally dry hair. I have oily scalp and dry ends from heat and the olive oil just made my hair greasy for a few days even after showers with no real difference of my ends condition.

When I went through puberty my hair was super greasy and nothing seemed to help it. I have really thick hair. dawn dish soap was the only thing. it doesn't create the smell in your hair and takes care of it.

You add oil to dry tips? right, just like aragan oil and keratin spray. olive oil is thicker, and makes it greasier. but I'm glad it worked for you.
