Liquid liner VS gel/creme liner.

So, yea, I'm just curious about the difference between liquid liner and gel liner aside from the brush thingy. I'm planning to buy gel liner this week but I'm having second thoughts because I'm not really sure about the outcome of it. I want a velvety finish and liquid liner is not the thing, will a Wet n Wild gel liner be the thing for me if I want a velvet finish? What do you prefer guys? Liquid or gel?

I use Maybelling gel liner. I love it! it also comes.with a brush. Stays on nice and and.easy to wash off. (:

Gel looks a bit more glossy than liquid. Liquid typically dries matte.

If you use gel liner, it won't look like you used an eyeliner pencil, because the colour is much fuller. I prefer gel liner, because it seems to make my eyes pop more than pencil liner. This could be because the colour is deeper (my pencil liners aren't very dark), or because gel just creates that effect.

I have the rimmel london gel eyeliner I personally don't like it cause it smears and leaves like a glossy shinny effect I like bettwr liquid eyeliner it has more of a matte finish to it!

Gel is a lot beter because you can create the defined liquid eyeliner look, aswel as the smudged pencil eyeliner look, so its like a two in one really.

I always use liquid. I have had a hard time with gel eyeliner because it likes to transfer to my crease area... not cute. BUT I do like it for my waterline sometimes.

Gel liner has a thicker consistency than liquid liner. gel liner is easier to control than liquid. I like gel better because it lasts longer and it's easier to control. you can also put it on your lower lash line, but liquid can only be applied to the upper lash line

I've used the wet n wild gel liner (loved it!) it had a matte finish. I like it better than liquid, because it's easier for me to control the thickness of the line.

I like gel liner because I feel like you can customize control and style a lot more than you can with liquid (meaning you can use different brushes/techniques). I like Clinique's gel liner the best.

Elf gel liner is definitely the most pigment for the best price. It's also easier to practice creating looks with in my opinion.
