How long should you keep the following products?:
~eyeliner
~mascara
~foundation
~eyeshadow
~lipstick/lipgloss

Eyeliner you want to keep for 6-8 months
Mascara only 3 months
Foundation is tricky because it depends if it has a pump or not. If it has a pump I'd use it until it runs out but anything else I wouldn't keep for longer than a year because of bacteria.
Eye shadow you can keep for a year or two if you keep your brushes very clean.
Lipgloss and lipsticks are probably only good for about 6-8 months.
I'm just going by what I've heard and what the packaging tends to say. Most products will give you an estimate on when it should be thrown out. I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure most of these numbers are fairly accurate. Hope this helps :)
