Usually when I cut old jeans to shorts they don't look right! Any ideas on how to make them look cute? How to do the bleaching and badazzles? :)

Twist them really tight and use a bunch of hair ties to hold them together , this will also give it the design. Than but bleach and water in a moo bucket or fill your kitchen sink and drop the twisted up shorts in it but make sure they are completely covered & than when they get to the color you like, rinse them completely (take the ties out before) and ring them so they don't take forever to dry.

I always cut my old jeans into shorts. Just a tip: always try to cut them longer when you make the first cut! You can always go shorter, but once you cut them you can't go back, so be careful. I always think it looks really cute when they're just cuffed at the bottom. Plus you can hack away at them and no one can tell the edges are jagged since they're rolled up :)

You cut them longer than how short you want them. then, take the ends and fold up thinly twice, and it hides any wierd shaped from cutting.
