That's ridiculous what a b*tch.. I mean there if some truth that the colors you use would be different and the technique slightly different because of the features on your face might be different. But thats with everyone right?? We all have different canvases to work with but it doesn't mean we can't share advice and help each other... I give you a lot of credit for not snapping in front of your kids tho :) there's a lot of blushes that are flattering on a variety of skin tones so they chick was clearly uneducated and tactless. Youre clearly the better person here so walk away feeling good about what a good role model you are for your children! :)

I give you credit for not going off on her in that store as I wouldn't have been able to contain myself. No we can't wear ALL the same things (NARS Orgasm for example looks great on a lot of white girls, but on us it can be a huge hit or miss) but a good 80-98% of makeup products we can share. To say you can't give adequate advice because you're black is just rude as all fudge.
The girls friend, the one being rude, was also wrong for not stepping in.

Sad story :( Humanity is a rare thing these days. I was at a supermarket once and an old lady with alzheimer (I think) forgot to bring her wallet and that made her feel so uncomfortable, she was so ashamed. The line was long behind her and nobody said or did anything. When I paid for her groceries (1.75? or something like that) everybody cheered at me. The fact that they did that made me even more pissed off!! I believe in Karma so the girl you've met Mookey will get her payback one day. (and I hope she'll suffer hard from humility) :)
