I am in dance recital season and I have been having to wear tons of makeup. No matter what I do to prep my face or how I wash it off, I still get major acne. Any ideas?

I always had that sort of problem... no matter how much I scrubbed my face with cleansers, nothing seemed to work. I did however go to my doctor and was prescribed differine! its a gel that works fabulously! :) differine also comes in different strengths like 0.1 or 0.3 of xxx ingredients. :) you should seriously consider asking your doctor or dermatologist about differine.

Put clean and clear moisturizer on and it helps a lot when ever I would have to wear a lot of makeup for cheer!! Then as soon as you can wash your face and wear as little make up as possible when you don't have to do performances!!

Look into sensitive-skin makeup brands like Neutrogena and BareMinerals. Use a high quality primer to really create a strong barrier between your skin and the makeup (smashbox, too faced)
To remove the acne, try Benza Clin, African black soap and Cetaphil cleanser. :)

You apply a small bead-like amount on your clean face before night, and wash it off in the morning. :) I've been using this stuff since like... 6th grade.
