I have seen some people who use bags or large prints and frame them for inspiration, but does anyone here do anything else creative/interesting with the left over bits from when you get a new order or item?

I have been considaring making a little scrapbook with mine, and putting in basic info that is helpful to me. Sort of like my own little personal beauty book!

That'd be cool! Sometimes I'll cut out the part of the packaging that has the brand's name on it and stick it on my bedroom wall, it's fun to collect if I can remember!

Apparently if you mix together lipstick and vasiliene then you can make your own lip gloss, so instead of throwing out the bits of lipstick that break off you can make it into lip gloss.

Just to clarify, when I say scraps, I am referring to the packaging and wrappers. Not the product itself. =]
And Thanks Paige! I'll check it out!
Thanks Kirin! I've been slowly gathering information and I am trying to start typing it up so I can print it and put it all into a zip around 3 ring binder for my "beauty book".
At the moment it's a matter of organizing the information, and finding fun ideas of how I can use all the cut out pieces from my leftover packaging!

I do this with all my left over packaging or PR notes etc. I love to keep the memories or quotes, it's surprising where you can find inspiration from. I have had a scrap book of all things makeup related for the last 5 years and I always refer to that when I am down or need some inspiration.
I also like to keep articles from magazines I have found useful or stick pictures onto a mood board and hang that in my room!
Love to hear any other tips x

I use my left over mineral and liquid foundation to make my own customized tinted moisturizer! I mix the foundation with my fav facial moisturizer and a little bit of primer. :)

I use the little bamboo carton Tarte's maracuja oil comes in as a brush holder now. It works pretty well because there are some purple elements in it and I have a good bit of real techniques brushes, which are purple. It really came in handy!
