Then post a job ad saying that you're just starting out and want to build your portfolio so you're looking for a photographer (and maybe mua or hairstylist) that is in your area who is also looking to build their portfolio that will work for free.

Also don't post pictures of tacky selfies, try to get a friend/parent to take a few pictures of you posing.

Then once you get a few pics done by a photogrspher you can apply for the jobs on there.

You have to become a full member to do that which means you have to pay $6 a month for the account, but its worth it.
