Hair growing tips!?! PLEASE??

Okay, so my hair grows SO slow! It's really annoying! And it's at that awkward length where it's just past my shoulders and it's REALLY thick. And I don't have layers. I'm doing the whole "hair-cation" deal and trying not to put heat to my hair or put product in it. Is there any natural home remedies that you guys could recommend to help my hair growth speed up?

I know there are a bunch of videos on YouTube about it. It's some kind of oil stuff. You can also massage your roots and hair in the shower.
