I have dyed my hair a mahogany color and it didn't show up and it's starting to fade. I want something to show up any advice. I really like the purply red look.

If you dyed over your dark brown hair, nothing is going to show up really. At most, it will tint your hair. You have to bleach it to get a true color difference though :)
