Tampons work but make sure to tuck it in all the way because it can suck in the water from the pool too.. And that is nasty.

If I were you I would just pass on this one. Tampons do work but like Skye said, sometimes it can absorb pool water too and it doesn't feel nice AT ALL. I wouldn't risk embarrassing myself, I'm sure your friends would understand! Unless this swim is very important x

What's wrong with tampons? If you use it right you're going to be 100% ok. It doesn't absorb water if it's inside you, and no one can tell that you're using one! So easy and simple :)

Like many of the girls have said, just use a tampon. It works just fine but just change it like every 2 hours instead of the normal 4-6. It'll feel weird at first but I'd rather get used to a weird feeling than not go swimming at all. I know because I went to Florida when I was on my period and we had a hot tub and a jacuzzi. There was no way I was missing out lol.

If you know how to use it right, tampon is perfect and you won't have any problems. also, remember that when youre in the water, the period normally stops so you can even get away with putting nothing when youre in the water and just going to the bathroom right before and after. I'm not trying to be gross sorry!

If your tampons are absorbing pool water its not in far enough. proper insertion makes an air tight plug so no water should be absorbed.

I have never had a tampon absorb pool water..lol I agree with the ladies that correct application (and type/size that is right for your body) is key. Bring an extra, naturally. I'm a fan of pearl.

I've heard that once you're in water the flowing stops... Tried it once and nothing happened.
