I have 2 weeks to gather as much information as I can. I really want to take a professional makeup course I found that's 2,500. and there is nothing about financial aid on the website. So if anyone knows where I can get a grant that can cover that, you will be a life saver and I wouldn't be able to thank you enough. This is part of my dream, and I'm on my own to make it happen. If anyone would be willing to ask around for me that would be amazing.

I don't know how much help this will be, but I'm heading off to hair school, it's $10,000 but I set things up with the bank and they gave me $5,000 toward it. So mabey just talk to your bank and see if you can set something up? A $2,500 loan wouldn't be to hard to pay off later.

Oh I didn't think of that, that's a good idea. though I don't have a job =[ that's part of why I'm taking this class. I want to work up and eventually go to beauty school when I can. the program I want to take at the beauty school is a little over 10,000 so your advice is helpful for me =]

I would email or call the people that are hosting the course. If they tell you they don't, you can always ask if there are other places that do! (They might not advertise it for some reason.) You can also do what Rebecca suggested as well. You can tell your bank that you don't have a job right at the moment, but with your education you will get one. And they'll set up a payment plan for you. I'm happy that you're following your dream, Kaitlyn! :)

I found www.grants.gov And you know sometimes Libraries, Newspaper publishers, Universities, and businesses hold mini scholarship contests you can enter, too! When I was in college, there were many opprotunities available to students and non-students! It's worth a shot ;)
