I love the crackle nail polish, but I've heard many girls saying they don't like it. Do you like it?, what is your favorite colors to match?

I like it. Not all the time, but sometimes I just need a little crackle in my life! I have a Claires nail polish that changed color from green to yellow depending on my body temp. It's my favorite to wear under a black crackle!

love it! I have a black crackle and I've worn it with turquoise, dusty purple, hot pink, shimmery white, gunmetal silver... once I did my sister's nail in a black crackle with a silver base for her hospital stay and the doctors kept asking her how long it took me to do them, lol...

I like them! I really like the China Glaze metallic crackle polishes, they have lots of really unique colors instead of just the typical black or white that everyone wears. I will say that I don't love the gold one, it's not very pigmented and the crackle effect doesn't really work if you do more than one coat of it. The other colors I've tried from that line have been better though as far as color payoff

I like it. Ive had better luck with Avon Mosaic Effects, but thats probly just me. I always wear it with a totally contrasting color. Super FUN! XD

I like it, and a while back I wanted every color a would see. But you know that you might not be in love with the look for ever, so I basically went for buying it in black, gold and silver and using any color I want under. And I’m still happy with my choice, I have done black and pink, black and turquoise, black and silver, black and red, gold and red and so an so, red and silver, pink and silver an so an so. :)

Thank you all for your answers! My favorite is black, it looks great with any color, also grey. And yes I have crackle polish in many colors, like using a dark blue one on top of a lighter blue looks amazing, and pink-grey, green-grey (I use this one as a Slytherin -Harry Potter- nail look), red-yellow (Gryffindor).

And yes people who don't know about it, think it takes ages to decorate hehe XD.

I feel like it was really just a fad that was cool for a month or two and people are pretty much over it now. It's still nice to use once and a while, though. It's really my backup nail polish, because since it changes texture, I'll just do it over a manicure if I happen to take a nap and mess it up or it bubbles, and it just erases all of that. I don't use it that much, though.

I agree with Laura S., I was OBSESSED with crackle when it came out. Now I don't dislike it but I never do it on my own nails. O.P.I's upcoming Spiderman Collection has a green shatter that looks really cool though.

It all depends. Some days I'm over the trend and some days I feel like a little crackle wont hurt. I think crackle looks better on me when my nails are shorter though.

I have 3 from POP Beauty, in black, white and a glittery silver shade. I think they look best when the colors are basic.

I just think it's annoying because the formula is a little goopy, then if you apply too much it doesn't crackle enough, too thin and it just looks horrible.... then it has a weird texture on your nail, like you can feel it...

But it looks cute =)
