Ello!

The Roux color-refresh mask is by far the best non-harsh treatment I have ever found for keeping my hair a vibrant red color.

If you have thick hair like me you will probably need two packets. Also, I have found that if you apply to dry hair (even though the instructions say apply to damp hair) the color results will be more vibrant, and also last longer.

Yes it will! If you're seeking a more natural look, you should apply it to damp hair, and only for 5-10 minutes.

Did you change your shampoo and conditioner? like a red maintaining type?

I got it at Sally's beauty supply, and no I actually just always rinsed with cold water, and continued to use Wen & Lush products for daily shampoo/conditioning.

I love the roux color refresh mask too I swear by it! I mix the fire red and copper and I've been using the same two packets since march (: @kelly fyi I believe it is not recommended for virgin hair, but you could always give it a try! a semi-permanent red color would be better for you to enhance your lovely red locks! and its at sallys, but if you like roux beauty on facebook they do free giveaways on this mask fairly often (:

Thank you! I am going to try this also. I am a natural redhead. But with age I am more brown than red. And I want my red back!
