DO: wear a normal amount of makeup, have your hair casual yet pretty, have on a nice colored shirt that complimenta your skin hair and eyes.
DON't: make a stupid face. have a shiney forehead (flash makes it worse). and last but not least don't take a bathroom pic.

Have a nice background (by a lake, trees, grass instead of your room or bathroom), use a good camera NOT a computer webcam! And have good lighting, maybe put a filter through it :)
