Korpse Kosmetics looks like a good one. Or Portland's Black Lipstick Company. I have yet to try them! Aleighnna, you introduced me to Maddstyle Cosmetics, so I can't recommend you that lol I've got a blush, eye shadow, and the prefektin powder. I like them a lot!

I keep seeing POW cosmetics, Sugar Naturel, Magnolia Makeup, Mirenesse Cosmetics, Rowa Cosmetics, London Brush Co, Glam Eyez Cosmetics, Addixtn Cosmetics, OFRA Cosmetics, Strobe Cosmetics, Melt Cosmetics on Instagram.
There are so many I want to try, but I haven't even gotten stuff that was once "indie"- Lime Crime/Sugarpill etc.

Geek Chic Cosmetics, Venomous Cosmetics, Beauty From the Earth, Makeup Geek, and Fyrinnae are all amazing companies with fantastic products.
I would avoid Lime Crime, because the owner is a liar and a thief--just do a quick Google to see all of the problems people have had--and CONTINUE to have, despite many claims to the contrary.
I know nobody has mentioned it but occasionally it will come up when searching for indie makeup: Glitter Sniffer. AVOID GLITTER SNIFFER AT ALL COSTS. Glitter Sniffer is the absolute worst company that has ever existed, and somehow persists in various incarnations. Again, a quick Google will yield no dearth of information.

I also know what Emily is talking about with LC and Glittersniffer. Doe has been very cut throat from the get-go. (But I'm not sure I wouldn't buy from her). Glittersniffer was responsible for selling shoddy mineral shadows that were not safe for eyes which caused some serious eye injuries, plus she was just an irresponsible businesswoman. I'm getting this info from online and a few blogs.

^about Lime Crime.
And there is a TON of Glittersniffer horror stories on google!

I've been getting into indie makeup recently too! I found Smashcosmetics on etsy, and I was pretty pleased with my order. Plus they're pretty cheap and they have generous sample sizes. I'm waiting on my Shiro cosmetics order right now, I got two intertubes (leeroy jenkins and wizard hat, they look so awesome!)
Also, does anyone know of any indie companies that make good cream eyeshadows?
