I love how open ended it is, and you can really transform your face, it's an art. Also, I suffer from anxiety and depression, and there isn't really much that can make me feel relaxed and happy, and makeup does that for me. When I'm feeling extremely anxious and upset, I play with makeup and it really does help. It's therapeutic for me :)

I love makeup because it has the power to transform you. With makeup you can whoever you want: soft n sultry or bold n colorful, you choose. It boosts confidence when you're feeling down. It's like art to me. So much more than vanity.

To me, makeup has the power to literally change someone's life. there's so many people out there who say makeup is bad and creates issues with people's self-esteem and image but I've always witnessed the opposite! makeup has the power to make people feel BEAUTIFUL! I don't see how that can ever be a bad thing :)

I love makeup because it makes me smile to be all glammed up. I don't always have to wear it everyday but when I do I have fun with it. Seeing how I can enhance or completely transform myself with it is awesome.

I agree with everyone! To add something of my own: it makes me feel pretty and confident, since I am like the most insecure person on the inside, but you would never know because I'm always wearing makeup and that brings out a totally different side of me! I also love makeup because I like trying new things and my mom says that your face is an art canvas, so I like to experiment and see what kind of art I can create!

The reason I love makeup is because when I was young, kids used to beat me up because I had an awful overbite and stringy hair. My nose was broken 5 times before middleschool from kids hitting me or pushing me down. I discovered that makeup and, thank god, braces helped me to achieve some confidence in myself. Growing up with no self esteem is terrible. makeup helped me become the person I wanted to be instead of how everyone else perceived me to be.
