Ok, so I'm only 14. But I really want to do some modeling, I always have! I love being behind the camera and getting all dolled up to take pictures of myself. But I don't know where to start. I've done some research and I don't know which places are legit. So if someone could give me some help like a website or contact details that would be great! I'm interested in all modeling and I'm willing to do anything. As long as it's not too expensive. Also, I live in Atlanta, Georgia so any places around there would be great!
Thanks a bunch!!!

My middle son models. First thing first is your safety so don't go falling for the ad's on Craigslist where some perv is posting for models. Run from the agencies that ask for money up front. What is you height by the way because that will determine what kind of modeling you can do. I have no clue to the Atlanta,GA market. My son lives out in L.A. where he is signed with an agency out there.

P.S. I'll email his agent to see if she has any contacts in GA to at least point you in the right direction.

Sorry I'm getting back to you so late but I had to wait on them to give me info after they asked about height and age. My son's agency had mentioned something about most agencies wanting someone at your age to be at least 5'7. But they did give me one lead. Allure Model Management. They have a website and right not they aren't doing any open calls but you are free to submit snapshot pics along with measurements and resume (basically stating if you've done any modeling or not). Have you ever thought about getting into commercial acting? My son that I was telling you about does that as well and that actually led him into the modeling segment. That's another avenue to investigate. One bit of advice though....you're gonna have people who will be very negative towards you and you gotta have a strong core to handle it. And don't do ANYTHING that disrespects you as a young woman to become a model. Your diginity and self respect is the best asset you have. Don't allow some sheep in wolves clothing to lead you astray.

omg thank you so much!!! Um I've never thought of acting just because I didn't think I would have nearly enough time for it. And the only time i'm ever even close to five seven is when i'm in heels :( hahaha but thank you soooo much!!!

A few things.
1. You're too short. Most legitimate agencies will turn you away because of the height. I'm 5'6" and did local modeling as a teen but couldn't do anything but local because I was too short.
2. Stay away from companies that offer to teach you how to be a model and you have to pay for runway classes or modeling classes. Those are all scams.
3. Since you're a minor your parent has to sign everything for you. So talk to your mom or dad (or both) before you do anything else.
In Atlanta I know of the Bailey Agency which is owned by Cynthia Bailey (Real Housewives of Atlanta fame) but I have a feeling her agency is more of a "school" which are not legitimate modeling agencies. Put it this way, have you ever heard of Elite Model Management EVER offering classes in a school setting? Of course not because it's all BS - either the girl is talented enough and the camera loves her OR not. Remember to research, research, RESEARCH before signing - well having mom or dad sign - anything. If the agency wants money up front RUN from that agency, don't let them con you into any packages, any photo deals to build your portfolio or anything like that.
