The enzymes found in mangos assist with all sorts of health ailments. I take mango chews everyday. As far as rubbing it into the skin I'm a little skeptical about.

I'm all about making a fruit salad on my face, especially knowing the benefits.  :)

The ingredients in mangoes (just like lemon juice can lighten skin or hair) DOES work on skin but gradually. I am beginning to think most people who answer these questions have no scientific skin if hair knowledge. Beware and research before taking advice in here.

I love mangoes too much to put them on my face. :-P
But India makes a good point. One cup of sliced mangoes has only 1262 IU (25% DV) of Vitamin A (according to nutritiondata.self.com... very interesting site). That's very low compared to foods like
carrots, which have 21,383 IU (428% DV) of Vitamin A per cup, and sweet potatoes, which have over 18,866 IU (377% DV) of Vitamin A per cup. Maybe there's a reason why these "doctors" are on a TV show rather than actually practicing their profession!

Why not just take vitamin A orally? I think "The Doctors" get some far fetched ideas.
