What are your thoughts on it? Good? Bad? I just got offered to be an affiliate and I am not sure if I should. Your opinions would help a lot!

I became one about a month ago. You either profit from it or you don't, but you don't lose anything by joining (no fee or anything)so it doesn't hurt to try it out. All you would be doing is posting their banner/s on your page and you can remove them anytime you choose to.

I'm one... and it has it's benefits, but no matter what don't try to push a product just to get sales! It's not worth losing the respect of your followers/ subscribers! Good luck!

@Althea: Thank you! That was one of my main concerns. It seems that most people who affiliate with Sigma end up seriously pushing their products or there starts some sort of controversy and I want no part of that.

@Afiya: That sounds simple enough. I might become one, though I am not entirely comfortable with pay pal.

Is it safe? I see that you have to provide your social security number, and I am not entirely comfortable putting that online. Can anyone provide more insight into the program. The good, the bad, is it worth it ect. My mother said she wouldn't do it if she were me and that makes me a little nervous to proceed.

Kassie- I just got an e-mail from them too. I was all gung-ho to sign up BUT when I saw they needed my social security number, I was very hesitant. Like you, I'm not comfortable just giving out my SSN. I'd like to know if the Sigma program is worth it too!

I'm an affiliate. I haven't had any trouble with it at all, just a bunch of e-mails about stuff and what not. You don't HAVE to push products that you don't want to push. I talk about them in my videos, and give my opinion on them, but I don't push. I have made 2 sales total. It's kinda fun, plus you get to hear about stuff before they release it to the rest of the public.

Being an affiliate is productive and the reason you provide your social is it is considered income if you make a percentage of any sales that are made. I became an affiliate because I really love Sigma and it has stopped me from buying more and more MAC brushes. It is less expensive even with my pro discount and my brushes are two years old. Not one brush has broken. I have gotten some of the new ones and they are great. Anyway, the social security number is so they can provide payment to you legally if you make sales. It is a great experience. I really enjoying talking about the brushes, but I don't push anything on anyone. I love to announce the new products and it is a great experience. I am sure the more subscribers you have the more you make, but I sometimes get a buy. I wouldn't do it if I didn't like the products. I believe in Rapidlash, Sigma and ELF so I am affiliates for them. I was an affiliate for two other companies then removed them from my blog as I didn't like how they changed their products. So, I stay honest to what I really like. Take care.
