I do this everyday. And trust me, it works! I have very oily skin and it keeps it matte all day. My makeup stays all day too. Its definitely something I would recommend.

I've seen this on Pinterest as well. I have dry skin and I don't wear foundation, otherwise I'd try it, but I also heard that cornstarch can be a hotbed for bacteria growth when it gets moist from your skin's natural oils. I haven't seen any scientific evidence to back up what I heard, though.

Cornstarch contains minerals that bacteria need to survuve so if it gets moist, bacteria will grow but since bacteria grow on pretty much anything anyways, you only have to be careful if your skin is acne prone. I tried it and it gives skin a velvety look and feel but it kind of clogged my pores a little bit.
