Crayons are non toxic... that's how they have to make it cuz little kids eat this stuff all the time.

It's funny, because actual lipstick is a very unhealthy product, seeing as you literally eat it. Yearly, the average lipstick wearer swallows 6000 kg of it and it contains lead.

Tina if yours dried hard you might be able to remedy the situation by adding a tiny bit more oil/lotion and remelt it :)

I really hope I can figure out a way to reformulate these so they can be used as cream eyeshadows :3 Imagine the color possibilities <3.

Honestly, just use less oil, same amount of lotion. My nude coral shade ended up with a different consistency, so I think I may use it for a cream shadow. Also, no, you don't have to use organic vegetable oil (:

Gosh that sounds really cool! But...is that healthy or sanitary? I'm just worried I'll end of digesting it or something totally ridiculous like that:D.

Completely healthy. That's why I made it, to be an alternative to harsh lipstick chemicals.

That's cool! Way better to try a new shade for the cost of half a crayon rather than the cost of a lipstick :)

How do you think it's would work if I used coconut oil? Would it mess it up since it's a solid at room temperature or do you think it'll work? Is the liquid necessary? I've read that heating polyunsaturated vegetable oils breaks them down and creates free radicals due to the comparatively unstable molecular structure (as compared to a saturated fat like coconut)
