So, here recently I have been using eyeshadow as my eyeliner a lot more often then actually using a pencil. I usually like to do the whole cat-eye sort of look, but I find with pencil, its a little harder for me to achieve that. I realized that using eyeshadow was easier to create that look but there were a few downsides for me.
1. It wasn't showing up as dark as I would've liked it to.
2. I often found it not staying on for very long.
After I had messed around with this for a while I thought I'd try something a little different. I used a cream eyeshadow I had that matched pretty closely with my skin tone (it doesn't have to be spot on because you'll be putting stuff over it later). I used that as a base, and lined my eye like I normally would. Then I went back to the black eyeshadow and placed that on top. The cream eyeshadow underneath served as a pretty good, sticky base that would help keep the eyeshadow in place. It also increased the intensity of the shadow like I wanted it too. I just thought it was kinda interesting and figured it might help somebody with the same issue I had. Please let me know what you think, or if you have any other techniques or tips I'd love to hear 'em! :)

I don't go anywhere without my winged liner! But, I use a pen-style eyeliner with a brush tip to achieve it. It's less steps, and it doesn't budge all day! I use Physician's Formula Lash Boosting Eyeliner Pen!

Yes, I'm also getting into using liquid liners as well, and the pens look like a good one too. That was another thing, I liked this technique because it at least worked for me, but if I'm in a rush its not always an ideal way for me to do my makeup.
