So my skin has been really dry lately and I don't know why. It could be my clarisonic my face wash which is cetaphil or the weather? Idk but anyways when I was my face I moisturize like I'm suppose to then put on my makeup but like 10/20 minutes late my skin looks really dry my foundation and powder look like its cracking. What can I do? What's a good motorizer?

Try switching your face wash. Cetaphil is often recommended for people that have problems with acne because it dries out the oil/skin. I really like the daywear moisturizer by Estée Lauder. It is SPF 15 and has two options for your skin type.

-Wash your face with cold water
-get a moisturizer meant for night time, they're more moisturizer than regular ones

Try cleansing your face with coconut, jojoba or almond oil. I mix the three together. You can use it as moisturizer too.

Try cutting back on the clarasonic a bit its possible it could be part of the problem. weather could do it too. the cetaphil is a very gentle cleanser so you should be good with that. I agree with Katriena the mac fix + is a great hydrater and could really help refresh your face after your makeup.

Your cleanser is fine ,if your using the clarisonic twice a day go to once a day and try using argan oil at nite or a heavy nite cream like hope in a jar or olay micro sclupting cream in the morning try a little agan oil if your makeup has spf in it if not try olay complete let it absorb then your makeup.

Ihave dry skin too mostly on my nose! iuse ponds cold cream cleanser but make sure your using cold water if you have dry skin! iuse cetaphil moisterizer after iwash my face.. you might also have dead skin on your face too and what iuse to get rid of that is jst some sugar and lemon juice a real lemon! mix those together and rub on your face rinse with cold water it will get all that dead skin off. it works like a charm for me. hope this helps=)
