Recently I've been using proactiv cleanser but my skin is cleared up from my most recent breakout and it's starting to get dry I'm sure due to the acne fighting ingredient. I need a new cleanser that helps with breakouts but isn't so strong. Also if you can recommend a good exfoliater as well. Just for more info my routine is usually makeup remover, exfoliate (not everyday), cleanser, toner, l'oreal youth code serum, and Olay fresh effects moisturizer.

If you're looking for a gentle cleanser - you might try the Simple. skincare cleansing wipes. They're super gentle but I've noticed an improvement in my skin since I've started using them. The whole Simple. skincare line is full of gentle products!

The Korres Pomegranate line would be a good option for you as it is lightweight and geared towards brightening and balancing the skin. You can still use your proactive as a spot treatment but as you know the benzoyl peroxide in it as you know can be quite drying. There's a cleaner, toner, cleansing wipes (if you prefer those), exfoliator, and awesome moisturizer within the range amongst others. But I definitely recommend starting with at least the cleaner and moisturizer.

I absolutely love Mario Badescu's Acne Facial Cleasner. It's gentle yet effective so you can use it every day or like me twice a day. It has salicylic acid so it fights your current acne as well as prevents acne from forming plus it has chamomile & aloe vera gel so it's soothing & gentle on your skin preventing dryness. I've been using this cleanser for months now & cannot believe I actually lived without this product. Definitely worth the money in my opinion :)
