I have reverse dark circles under my eyes. like, the skin under my eyes is almost two shades lighter than the rest of my face. what would be the best way to go about correcting this? should I try a darker concealer? I dunno haha.

Hi Amelia,
This is a common concern for many, as the skin under the eye is lighter because it is so delicate. I would not recommend going darker, rather instead of lighter like some do to correct dark circles, simply match your concealer to your foundation. <3

I agree with Alicia.
but I'd even say skip concealer all together. unless you're trying to hide lines, just use a good eye cream to keep that area moist and just use your foundation under your eyes as well..

It's really noticeable if I don't use anything, I also try to avoid keeping the skin around my eyes moist because break out with milia when I've used too much cream. I'll try finding a concealer to better match my foundation. right now I'm using erase paste, but the fair is too light and the medium to too dark. maybe I'll just try blending the two until my complexion evens out. I have a lot of freckles and they end abruptly around my eyes accentuating the area even more.

Millia is only caused when the eye cream is applied too closely to your eye. Make sure to only tap a very small amount lightly around the orbital bone - no closer. You can also try an eye gel rather than cream if you find it too heavy.
As for the Erase Paste - you are dead on. The 3 color selection was orginally made for dark circles to work as a corrector rather than concealer. I can imagine with your lack of dark circles it may look a bit too peachy as well. I recommend getting color matched to find one to directly match your skin. If you would like to share what foundation you wear, I can give you some recommendations.

I switch between so many foundations:
Nars sheer glow in Siberia
Urban Decay naked - 1.0
L'Oreal Lumi - w1w2
Revlon colorstay regular and whipped - ivory
L'Oreal nude magic liquid power - 312 classic ivory
Nyx foundation - nude
I wear all of these on a regular basis, there probably isn't one I wear more than the other. I can't stay with just one texture, finish or level of coverage. I need to switch it up haha

Some of my favorites I'd recommend the rms beauty un-cover up in 22, Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in Ivory, or the Inglot Cream Concealer in 64.
(In order of lightest coverage to heavier water resistant coverage).
