Anybody try a great primer that worked for dry skin?

The flawless and pore less primer from pixi is moisturizing and soft :) it seems to work alright as far as I can tell, but I have combination skin and I live in a hot place so its not the right product for me :p but I used it on some dry patches I had a while ago and it smoothed them out nicely!
