How can I get my hair to stay straightened?

Every singleeeeee time I straighten my hair, which is naturally curly, it comes undone within the hour, forcing me to put it in a messy bun at school. How do I get it to stay straightened??

Have you tried blow drying it before? If its really humid outside I would put it up in a bun before I go outside and take it out when I get inside
