This is not when I woke up. I washed my face and put moisturizer on. When I first wake up its not as bright.

Did you exfoliate or maybe your just a little rough on your face nothing to worry about its normal.

I had the same problem! Now that I'm using a slightly milder face wash , moisturizing day and night (I use to only at night) and switched to a cream blush and a softer brush, it is pretty much gone! They're still a bit pink but not red! And it has only stayed to my cheek bone area, which I'm assuming is genetic.. For covering it up yellow based tones help a lot! (I find green toned ones a but hard to find ;))
