I'm getting braces very soon and I'm extremely nervous! Is there a way to draw attention away from your teeth? Or a way to draw good attention to the braces? Also what colors are most flattering? Thanks for all the help girl:) xx ~Haley

I say have fun with the colors! I never had braces myself, but from looking at other peoples braces when I was young, I would say avoid white and yellow! Yellow will make your teeth look yellow from far away and white will show contrast between the rubber bands and your teeth and make them look off-colored. I say definitely do pinks, purples, blues, reds, and oranges, and green if its not too light or yellowy!

You can also get clear bands, which is what I mostly did for the 6 years I had braces. Brush and floss religiously while you have them and invest in chapstick.
