When I first started, cleaning makeup was always a huge deal for me. that was pretty much always my question when I chatted with mua's.
I was once told that alcohol will dry up the shadows so to use alcohol on everything but that..
I never dip into my makeup when working on others, always make pallets n work from there.
In addition. I give makeup to my cousin when I haven't used it for a bit so it can get used up. I always clean all those things with alcohol. of course certain things like liquid eye liner, mascara etc, I throw away often. but lip gloss that squeezes out. or lipstick or eyeshadow that I never really used can be wiped down.. (again, this is just for the stuff my cousin takes)
for the things I use on a regular, I try to keep clean as I go, my thinking is that you should get rid of any possible bacteria as to not give it time to festor.
Idk, my post is all over the place, but I hope it helps.
basically. spray a paper towel n wipe off the top layer of those cream shadows n they should b fine. don't spray it on n give it opportunity to settle into the product. it will definitely dry out cosmetics..
