I have a couple of formals coming up for school, and I need to go dress shopping. The only thing is that most dresses I like are way too tight around my hips and far too loose around my bust. If I size up to fit my hips, it falls off my shoulders. if I size down to fit my bust, it won't fit around my lower body -_- Are there any types/cute of dresses that could fix this? Pictures are appreciated. Thank you all so much :)

Ones that are tighter around the top and then flow from the waist down :)

A line, they will suit you very well. Also for skirts and tops go for tips with detailed sleeves, cap sleeves or even a a blazer to balance out your hips and be wary or materials you wear as they can make your hips look wider. Personally would suggest AGAINST peplum as it makes hips look bigger

I have to disagree. Peplum creates the illusion if an hourglass figure.

I'm curvy with an hourglass figure and I don't like peplums I think whilst they may hide the stomach they make hips look wider.

I'm so over peplums, I never see them styled properly or it just looks awkward on some women, I think it's best for the straight/apple women to wear them not hourglass, pear shape body. Definitely try A line and empire waist designs. You want a flowy bottom and if you got the legs or the confident I should say, go short as it'll give you the illusion of being taller.

I feel your pain, I get international shipping which usually adds on an extra $30 on top of my orders.
