See through nails

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and knows what it is and how I can fix it. lately my nails have been going see through at the ends they are usually quite an solid whiteish colour but lately it has become blotchy and see through in places.

Youre nails have layers and bevause you havent cut them propperly some layers don't stick to each other anymore, you should cut them short or at least don't touch it or try to remove the layer x

I've had that & heard it was from certain vitamin deficiencies.
