Giveaways On Youtube

HEY GIRLS! so I am at 140 subbies on youtube and I have been thinking of launching a GIVEAWAY to kind of promote my channel, and give something back to those who are subscribed to me........ SOOO.. I was wondering, what are some GOOD things to giveaway?? what would get people excited and actually wanting to participate?

When I get a small giveaway with Wet n' Wild and just random crap from Sally's (little bath things from Christmas and stuff that were on clearance, I only did a giveaway since it was originally a friendly package for somebody in Singapore and it got sent back), people were entering the giveaway.

If it's free and makeup, people will want it. But people get excited over the higher end things like Urban Decay stuff... middle-end makeup like MAC... it really doesn't matter. People like the word free LOL.

Give people products that YOU would highly recommend and like.

I agree with Rikki, I have never done a giveaway, but that is what I would want, something that the person likes. But on the topic of giveaways, I am almost to 50 subscribers and I know that isn't a big accomplishment, I was planning on doing a giveaway at 100 but I do want to do something when I hit 50, I thought maybe a shout out... ? Or do you think it isn't worth it at 50? Thanks.

I've never done a giveaway, but I would suggest maybe a new product that you tried & loved. Maybe there is an indie brand that you really like & would like to share. I'm thinking I'll do my own giveaway when my blog hits 100 followers or 1 year & do something along those lines.
