Recently I've noticed that I'm stuck in a style rut and I feel like I keep buying and wearing the same things. Any suggestions in how to get out of this rut? :)

Methods:
1. Pinterest. Get some style inspiration by strolling through the fashion section. Also make a pin board of things you like or want to try.
2. It's easy to buy things you have because you like them. If you see something similar to what you already own, don't buy it.
3. Experiment. Try different things. Watch lookbook vids on YouTube.

Go to a store and pick out things that you either think looks ugly on the rack or something you normally would NEVER dare to try on. If it doesn't look good move on to the next :) I this once an was so surprised on how much of the things I had thought were ugly on the rack turned out to be so cute on! I hope this helps you! :)

Sounds weird but just wikihow random stuff or google a random makeup item. its weird but it leads to bunch of blogs that are really cool.

For all of highschool I've been stuck on hoodies, tank tops, skinny jeans, & skater shoes.
I'm tired of it, so I've been trying things on that I'd normally NEVER try, & so far it's going great! I've found so many cute things I never thought would look good on me before.
its all about experimenting & just trying things on to see how they actually look.
definitely also go through other beauty/fashion blogs tho, as well as YouTube & Pinterest.. lots of GREAT ideas there.

Repurpose clothes you already own like tie a flannel or sweater around your waste instead etc

I have that too. A good way to get out of the rut is to explore online tumblr, Pinterest, wanelo. See what others are wearing and what you like most. That's what I do before I shop (:
