How to make dyed red hair last longer?

My hair isn't actually dyed RED, it's just dyed brown and has a very red-ish tint. I'm concerned about the red fading super fast because my hair was bleached blonde before from dark brown hair.

My hair is dyed dark brown-red and the only thing that worked for me is using a good hair color. my absolute favorite is the loreal preference. the color lightens just a tiny bit but doesn't change abduction doesn't fade! I redye my hair only when my roots are showing.

As disgusting as it sounds, washing less is really the only way. Using sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and using a good dye.

First all, you should use a good hair dye. Also, don't wash your hair every single day.. try to wash it every other day or go 2 days without washing it. I have had my hair red plenty of times and what's worked for me is buying a special color retaining shampoo and conditioner. Een after your color fades your hair will still have a reddish tint to it. My natural hair is a deep brown.. but eveytime I dye it bright red or deep red, it stays a reddish brown after it fades. Then I just go about using regular shampoo and store my special one until I redye it. This is my hair now, and I havent dyed it since May, I think. In the sun it has an auburn color to it.

Thanks you guys! And I had it colored, I didn't do it myself. She uses TIGI color, I just knew it would fade a little faster than usual since my hair was bleached. I usually wash my hair about 2-3 times a week with sulfate free shampoo and deep condition at least once overnight with a shower cap on.
