Oils strengthen hair to prevent breakage but don't actually grow hair. Massage your scalp when you wash your hair to promote growth.

Here's a tip from what I've learned with research- hair is dead protein. You can't really substantially speed up the dying of protein, but massages to your scalp help. Brushing and only washing your hair like twice a week or little enough to allow natural oils to show. I've been told by other makeup savvy pals that biotine and taking daily folic acid actually really helps but I wouldn't know! I shaved my whole head a year or so ago and let me tell you patience is the key! Don't think about your hair and it'll grow before you know it!

Vasodilation helps grow hair, massaging helps blood flow to the scalp which will help you grow your hair, and your hair is made a keratin which is a protein so a suppose eating protein would help as well.

I was watching tyra on day and she gave tips to grow hair. One of them was to massage your hair while shampooing in the shower for like 3 mins. Maybe you should try it:)

Drink plenty of water daily and eat more proteins, fruit and veg (dark green veggies are the best). Massage your hair every day, wet or dry for about 10 mins and flip your head upside down for 20 seconds so that you can promote circulation in your scalp. Once or twice a week, massage your scalp with almond oil and leave it in for 15-30 minutes before washing it out. A healthy treatment does a lot to make your hair healthy, I use an argan oil from pro naturals and it works great.
