I did a baking soda mask on my hair last night, and it's so clean and soft now! Has/does anyone else do these? It removed do much gunk and build up, feels like my scalp can finally breathe!

I love dry shampoo, I think that's what most of the build up was. I haven't tried lush yet, sounds like it's worth checking out.

Just water and baking soda, enough to form a thin paste. I let it sit for about 5 minutes, rinse, use a gentle shampoo, and then heavy conditioning. It's going to strip a lot of oil so you have to replace it or you get an itchy scalp. I like to follow up with argon or maracuja oil so it's really soft.

Just be careful, if it starts to feel unpleasant wash it out early! It'll feel like it's burning if you've left it on too long.

I'm going to try this. I heard it also works for bad dandruff.

I wash with baking soda once (maybe twice) a week. Love the results. I feel like a mask might be a bit much for my hair considering how stripping a quick wash is. Try rinsing with vinegar for massive shine 😊

I don't do mine often, and I only wash my hair around every 5 days, so build up can get out of hand. I used to just mix it with my shampoo, but I kept forgetting. Either way, it works great! :-)
