What's your opinions on toners are they a significant part of a skincare routine? how do you apply it and how many times per week? what's the best toner in your opinion?

Definitely not a waste of money!! a toner closes your pores and brings the skins ph bavk to normal, it also removes any traces of cleanser, dirt and things like that! Use it everyday! I don't have a particular brand but whatever moisture you use I'm sure there's a toner in the range.

I don't think its necessary but I know many people use it. I use a rose water toner to clean my skin after I remove makeup&cleanse. But it also doubles as a makeup finishing spray. I've tried toners that have BHA or AHA with skin clearing promises but have never found them really effective. I'd rather use a cleanser or moisturizer for that.

Plus they usually contain a large amount of alcohol which is drying and counterproductive.

My mom actually found a recipe for make it yourself toner and it's the only thing that's currently working to clear up my skin. I apply it 3 times a day everyday because of how bad my skin is and I do moisturize my skin too. How I apply it depends on what I have available since I am on a budget.
