When I was going to the salon I only paid $65 for a cut & color, she's a family friend so it's a pretty big discount. But lately I've been doing it myself for $12 instead of $65 :)

I would pay pretty much anything for quality! I've had some really terrible yet expensive salon experiences that scarred me for life and it took me forever to be able to trust only ONE stylist with my hair again. I currently pay about $80 (without tip) to get my roots done and I'm always happy! I've had days at the salon that cost significantly more just to be underwhelmed & umipressed or scarred for life, in tears, and nearly bald! I'd dish out any amount of cash for quality and care.
