Ok so I have naturally straight kinda thin hair... And I've tried a ton of ways to get that relaxed beach-y waves hair but nothing has worked yet... Anyone have ideas? Thanks.

I've been trying too! Sometimes (lol) I just sleep with it wet and also I use "not your mothers beachy waves sea salt spray and my hair turns out like this.

Sleep in a few fishtail braids, then in the morning put the hair straightener over the braids. Then when you take it out spray with sea salt spray and scrunch.
Or you can buy like a three tonged hair waver, vs Sassoon have one, and then you can use sea salt spray and scrunch it once again

Yeah but the prob is that I used to straighten my hair a lot and it got damaged so I'm trying to stay away from any kind of heat products.

Loosely french braid your hair when it's damp. Sleep overnight. You won't need any heat, it'll be dried in loose waves. You can use mousse to set it if you want, but when I do this I don't even need the mousse and they last all day :)

Before you go to bed (make sure your hair is wet) braid your hair into three braids then braid the braids. In the morning take them out or hair spray it then take them out then brush through your hair with your fingers a little bit :)

I use a technique similar to the photo except I tie it back instead of clip it up but I'm sure it works either way :) it's the twist that's most important

What I like to do is braid my hair into two braids and then run my straightener over them, let them cool and undo them, and lastly hairspray them upside down, this is my go-to beachy waves look x

You could try using sponge rollers in damp hair before bed with a sea salt spray and then sleep with them in then in the morning brush them out and set with a finishing spray! :)
