So I have really oily skin and I need some help dealing with it. I want to wear cool makeup to school but my face gets all greasy and it runs under my eyes and into my creases by the time lunch comes. any tips? besides stuff like pimer, blotting paper and special face washes.

Use a matte powder to control the shine

-shower in hot water that morning
-wash your face with an acne cleanser, the chemicals dry it out
-use a light water based moisturizer at night only
-wear makeup meant for oily skin
-make sure you wear a powder
-try and stick to makeup that says matte in the name!

Also, wash your face with hotter water than usual.

My face used to be an oil slick within an hour of washing it. It would seriously look like I rubbed crisco all over my face or something. I've tried primers, mattifying powders, everything. Honestly, nothing worked on its own. Now with the right combination of my skin care routine and the right primer for me, etc.I don't have the oil slick problem anymore. The only time my oily face bothers me now is when I get lazy with my routine and don't follow it.

Use milk of magnesia as a primer. I swear by it. I have oily skin too. I apply my moisturizer & then with a flat foundation brush apply the MOM all over my face. After it dries (it'll turn white) I apply my foundation & everything else as usual. Keeps your face matte & oil free all day.

Give yourself a clay mask a couple times a week, that should help with oily skin.

Don't forget to moisturize! Even though your skin is oily it still needs moisture. Sometimes it can actually help your skin become less oily if you get it used to having a moisturizer on. Sort of like training your scalp to be less oily by washing your hair less often :)

Definitely matte powder over everything and then setting spray after it helps your face in the morning last all day long until you wash it off at night otherwise it sounds like your makeup is caking which means you have way too much on your face so try to make sure you only use a dime size amount for your whole face n that you blend it out properly before setting with powder that should help.
